Indo-Russian Rifles Private Limited (IRRPL) is an assault rifle-manufacturing facility in Korwa, Amethi district, Uttar Pradesh, India. IRRPL will manufacture the
AK-203 assault rifle from the Kalashnikov family of rifles. IRRPL is a joint-venture of the Indian DPSUs along with Concern Kalashnikov and Rosoboronexport from Russia to produce over 6,00,000 AK-203 assault rifles.

Russia and India share a very unique relationship and their bonds of friendship has further strengthened by the formation of M/s IRRPL. This Joint Venture was incorporated in 2019 under Inter Governmental Agreement for manufacture
AK–203 assault rifles for the Indian Armed Forces.
IRRPL has its Russian shareholders (Rosoboronexport and Concern Kalashnikov) and the Indian shareholders (Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited (AWEIL) and Munitions India Limited (MIL)). The Board of Directors of IRRPL comprises four Directors each from Russia and India.
IRRPL is being operationalised by a core team from Indian army led by Major General SK Sharma, SM, VSM, CEO & MD, IRRPL. IRRPL deftly crossed all the requirement related to defence procurement. The Joint Venture (JV) between Russia and India has its rifle manufacturing facility at Korwa, Amethi District of Uttar Pradesh.
